how often update websiteAs you may know one of the CCA's recently determined strategies is a more user friendly and accessible website.Essentially, we want to engage with the public domain to promote and grow the CCA.

Nevertheless, the CCA members and registered website users haven't been forgotten, so I want to highlight a few features that you may not be aware of.

Newsletter Subscriptions

First, there is the newsletter subscription panel. It is public, so there's no need to be logged in to subscribe or "un-subscribe". However, due to some nasty 'bots out there we have had to implement a captcha security check. Your colleagues, staff, friends etc. can, of course, also subscribe without having website membership.

News Site

https://news.ccansw.org.au is where industry news and the event calendar is published. All information there will be in the public domain.

Members Only Site

https://members.ccansw.org.au is where we will keep documents and files that should only be available to CCA members. It also contains archived stuff from the past. Whenever there is a new document or file added, you will receive emailed notification. We are looking at a way for you to be able to download the documents with a simple click, but for the time being you will have to log in with your user name and password to access anything  on the members' site.

Getting in touch

We have made the contact lists for members, delegates and registered users easy to access. When you log in with your user name and password on any of the CCA domain sites, an additional USER menu appears on the right hand site. Note that it is an accordion menu. If you only see "User Menu" click the little > icon at the left of the caption. The menu will expand to show the available options. Note that the CCA's website user profile system has a touch of the social web about it?

There are three links in particular I want to draw your attention to:

  • My Details or "Edit Profile" - click either of these to view and edit your personal details that other logged in colleagues might see.
  • CCA Members List - this link will show the list of members. Note that if you are the primary delegate for a member organisation you can edit the entity data. Actually, that option has always been there but hasn't been well utilised. We'll be in touch with more information soon to encourage you to ensure the displayed information is accurate.
  • My Colleagues - this is a list of all registered website users and CCA delegates. You can filter the searches by member organisation.

Linkedin Group

Don't forget the CCA's Linkedin Group. You'll find it here.
