From the Adelaide Advertiser:
Death isn’t usually a topic of discussion at the dinner table, but the Adelaide Cemeteries Authority is about to change that with its second Death Over Dinner experience.
The event, held in the West Tce Cemetery, aims to normalise the idea of death with guest speakers from different cultures and religions, as well as Spanish food, drinks and entertainment.
Adelaide Cemeteries Authority head of customer strategy and communications, Tony Saulters, says visitors will have the chance to ask questions and uncover things like why people die and where they really go when life ends.
“Death is not something people generally want to talk about but we’ve found a growing number of people want to know what happens to us when we die,” Mr Saulters says.
“As SA’s leading provider of burial and cremation services, we are really trying to engage with as many people as possible in a lighthearted, fun and interesting way.”
