The latest successful regional conference held by the Cemeteries and Crematoria Association of New South Wales (CCANSW) concluded on 21 September 2018.  The conference was packed with information, networking opportunities and field trip experiences.

Seventy-two members, their delegates and guests were welcomed to Port Macquarie and the 20- 21 September Conference by Mayor Peta Pinson, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.

Keynote speakers provided a variety of insights into strategic and management planning together with a session on the steps needed to successfully secure grant funding. 

A new Frequently Asked Questions for CCANSW Members response package was launched at the Conference and valuable guidance on the new Cemeteries and Crematoria Regulation Amendment was provided by Cemeteries and Crematoria NSW.

The next CCANSW Conference will be held in Sydney on 16 - 17 May 2019.  This conference will also include the biennial Trade Exhibition.
